Movement as Medicine - Deepening the Practice:Yoga for Nervous System Resilience
This 75-minute trauma-informed yoga practice invites you to return to the mat and deepen your connection to your body as a source of safety, strength, and possibility.
We’ll move through guided, invitational postures and shapes designed to support the nervous system and expand your capacity to inhabit your body with more agency and ease. This is a led practice with clear structure and pacing, while honoring individual choice and the natural intelligence of your body.
This class is especially created for women-identifying bodies who wish to explore yoga in a way that centers self-attunement and authentic expression. Whether you joined us in November or are arriving for the first time, you’re invited to meet yourself where you are and be gently guided toward deeper connection. No prior yoga experience is required.
What to Expect
Guided movement, breath practices, standing postures, and restorative shapes to support breath in the body.
75 minutes of structured, choice-centered yoga practice.
What to Bring
Bring your mat, water, and wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Blankets and blocks will be available, and you’re welcome to bring any additional props such as an eye pillow, favorite crystal, or anythings that helps you feel more at settled.
Come as you are, bring all of yourself, and leave with practices you can carry into daily life — and discover how movement can truly be medicine.
Danielle Ho is a trauma-informed yoga teacher with nearly 1,000 hours of training and over twenty years as a dedicated student. For more than a decade she has shared practices that weave vinyasa, restorative, Katonah, and nervous system–centered approaches. Her classes are designed to be grounding, compassionate, and accessible, honoring the body as a first home and a source of resilience. Dani is committed to offering yoga as a practice of presence and renewal, inviting students of all levels to discover movement as a form of medicine — a pathway to safety, creativity, and connection.
